Provide more Advanced Search options
When I search the KB, it provides too many results. I need refined results to better manage the KB. For example, if I enter [reference], it provides results that include Refer, Cross Reference, and so on.
What I need is the ability to enter ["Reference" -cross] to eliminate responses that do not have the exact match for the word Reference (i.e. no Refer) as well as responses that include the word "cross".18 votes -
Add levels to questions
Currently questions can be of one level, however most RFP's contain nested questions:
- Q1, Q1.1, Q1.1a, Q1.1b, Q1.2, ....
- Q1, if Yes, then (= Q1a), ....It would be great if that structure could be replicated in RFP365.

Tag responses in the Proposal
I can set a tag in a Proposal, but all new content inherits that tag. I want to be able to set a tag for a specific response in the Proposal. So when it is approved and written to the Knowledge Base, it'll have that tag associated with it.

Revoke Question for Approval
Provide a method to revoke a question that the writer has set as pending approval. Many time users might submit too early and realize they want to make a change. In the current format they have to go ask the approver to reject it. This would speed up the process.
10 votesNow writers who were assigned to a question can edit their response even after they marked that they are finished. This only impacts Contributors, who prior to this were restricted from further edits. Managers/Admins can edit anything.

Export knowledge button
I'd like to be able to export my Knowledge Base myself, instead of contacting support.

An easy to see indicator of received expert responses would be nice
When working on a long bid response, the Ask an Expert feature is helpful. But there's not (unless I'm missing something) an easy way to see in a bid which questions have received responses (or for that matter open requests). Some indicator would be helpful.
6 votesThe Proposal Dashboard should be tracking the Expert notifications also. I just saw one for myself out there. This was out in late 2016, so sorry for not notifying you sooner.

Tags should not be case sensitive
The tag search should not be case sensitive. It's difficult to determine if users will use proper case or not and it's very limiting that the search does not acknowledge a word if it's not used with the exact case it was created with. For example, if the tag is the word "Example" and I went to search "example" it would not come up as a tag because I did not use a capital "E." Wish this could be changed!
5 votesThis is good to go now. Capitalization shouldn’t matter when filtering now.

Response Status
Currently have to check “I’m complete” for each question to change the status to "pending approval"; it would be helpful to be able to change the status for multiple questions in bulk. Also would be helpful to change the response due date for multiple sections.
5 votesWe added a bulk ‘complete’ button at the bottom of the page. Basically this will promote a task to the next stage only if you own that task. So in most cases, this’ll work for writers and approvers looking to handle tasks in bulk. Feel free to send me your feedback on this. We are using internally also.

Tags By Question
It would be unbelievably helpful to be able to tag questions as we go through an RFP.
4 votesThis is a duplicate of another idea and this is in production as of earlier in 2017. Sorry I missed the notification here.

Email Message - Contain Link(s) to Open Questions
Have the alert messages contain URI links to the open task. Allow users to set SPAM limits in tool. Tool limits SPAM to five messages per hour.
4 votesWe’ve been working on the deliver-ability of messages by working with the email sending provider. These changes, combined with white-listing on the receiver side should help greatly.

Moving Questions Between Sections
How do I move bulk upload questions from one section of a response to another?
3 votesTo the supporters of this suggestion.
We are going through and cleaning up any loose Feedback items. In case you missed it! We do now have the ability now to move a question to another question and have had the ability to move within the active section with a drag-and-drop feature. Below are links to these options:
http://help.rfp365.com/knowledgebase/articles/1159801-can-i-move-questions-to-another-section
And in-case you were unaware of this drag-drop feature on questions… here is another link. Excuse the fact that this these screenshots are from the Issuer side but the functionality is the same on both sides this moving feature:
Cheers! – JC

Better (aka more) document formatting options)
There is limited text and document formatting options I believe, so when a document is exported to Word there is too much additional work required to make the document look good according to our corporate style. Wasted time I'm afraid.
3 votesThe Word API is somewhat limiting, but the use of customized Word templates can help with the heaving listing.

Improving accessing personal proposal tasks
My Tasklist provides all the tasks, which can be a lot....
Filtering is possible, but the selection is lost when you select a question and start answering it.
This could be improved by functionality to save filters e.g. in a "My filters" drop-down box which is always accessible.3 votesA couple of days ago, we pushed out a two-prong enhancement that should help here. There is now a filter in the Proposal, so you can filter down to your tasks, or tasks of a specific status. You can also see the individual section progress, through a slim green bar that advances across each Section name on the left. This has been very popular, from initial feedback. Thanks for the idea.

Response Status field (Compliant/Not Compliant etc)
Provide a question "status tag" separate from current tags. Many RFP responses require not just a text response but some sort of status field like Yes/No, Fully Compliant/Partially Compliant/Not compliant etc. Whilst these could be included using Tags there is significant work involved in editing out the information after an export - especially if other tags are used too. A customizable list per RFP (and possibly per section) is required which can be selected from a dropdown and will then be exported as a separate column/field would significantly ease RFP generation - something similar to the drop downs included when…
2 votesThe Excel import is live now wherein you can upload multiple columns from Excel. This allows for drop-down responses and text comments.

Task Administration - Tasks / Questions Open by User
I would be good to see the open questions by user and RFP. For example, a project owner would like to click through to see which specific questions have been assigned to a user and remain unanswered. The intent is to allow a business owner to quickly close the gaps by user (e.g., with an email).
2 votesThis should be complete now, per a minor release last week. The filter inside the Proposal allows you to filter down on specific users or statuses. You’ll see the progress indicator along the left-hand section navigation update also based on that filter.

Ability to Filter Out All Non-Approved Statuses
I need the ability to see all non-approved statuses so I can quickly work anything that is incomplete (whether reviewing, approving, or writing).
Currently, I have to work statuses one at a time because there is no NOT option and there is no MULTI-SELECT option.
PS: In your picklist for the Status filter your default option is "All States" (you mean "All Statuses).
2 votesThe Proposal filter now allows you to filter down across all Sections for tasks across a few different options.

Export responses in a unique Word Style that's anything but the "Normal" Style when exporting back into the original RFP
The original text in most Word RFPs is formatted using the built-in Styles in Word, and in most cases all the original text (including headings) has the "Normal" style applied. When we export our response back into the original RFP template, our answers also have the "Normal" style applied, meaning we have to manually select all of our responses in order to format them. Is it possible to assign a different Word Style to responses when exporting back into the origina RFP? That is, any unique style, call it "RFP365 Response" or whatever, just so we can then modify that…

Copy and Paste answers in an RFP to another RFP
Ability to search responses and copy/paste those from one RFP to another.
1 voteThis is core functionality. When you click on a Question you should see the search results on the right-hand side of your screen. That panel has multiple tabs, so look for the search results and you’ll see relevant past responses.

Capture who is answer a question. Right now, the status just shows as the person that uploaded it, but not who answered it.
Capture who is answer a question. Right now, the status just shows as the person that uploaded it, but not who answered it. It would help track time to see who is actually answering the questions. I know you can assign tasks, however that is time consuming.
