    • Back button does not work on for knowledge base

Within the knowledge base, the back button does not work (at least in google chrome) when you search in the knowledge base and select one question you can not go back and you also can not open in a new tab with Ctrl. This makes it very inefficient when looking up responses.

      • "Ask an Expert" email should link to the question where the response is required.

Clicking the "Provide your Feedback" text in the "Ask an Expert" email opened the RFP365 home page. There is no way to determine which RFP the question came from, as I hade several open at the time. I feel the link should have taken me to the location in the RFP, or at least noted which RFP the question was from.

          Hi Larry,

We wanted to inform you that we recently made some updates to the “Ask an Expert” feature in RFP365.

Here are some of those updates:

1 – The email to the Expert will now show how many questions an expert has been asked in addition to a the name of the RFP/Proposal at the top.

2 – Additionally, once you as an Expert are on the Ask an Expert response page (which is now consolidated for multiple questions to a single Proposal) you should have a clearer view of:
          - Company Account,
          - Proposal Name,
          - Question(s),
          - Notes from the Sender,
          - The Deadline for the Response, and
          - The ability to come back to this page and submit an individual response or multiple depending on what you prefer to answer.

3 – After the Expert has submitted their response(s) the original Asker gets the email…

        • Fix bulleted lists.

When I insert a second list further down in an answer, it also adds extra bullets in the lists I made earlier in the same answer. So I have to go back and delete all the extra lines again and again.

            Hi there jboruff!

These extra lines should now be cleaned-up without adding any extra bullets. Thank you for passing along this odd occurrence in the system. Please let us know if you find any other items that we need to see if we can clean-up.

            Cheers!

          • Export responses in a unique Word Style that's anything but the "Normal" Style when exporting back into the original RFP

The original text in most Word RFPs is formatted using the built-in Styles in Word, and in most cases all the original text (including headings) has the "Normal" style applied. When we export our response back into the original RFP template, our answers also have the "Normal" style applied, meaning we have to manually select all of our responses in order to format them. Is it possible to assign a different Word Style to responses when exporting back into the origina RFP? That is, any unique style, call it "RFP365 Response" or whatever, just so we can then modify that…

              • Freeze top row/1st column when adding or reviewing information

Currently when you have multiple rows and/or columns on a screen and have to scroll right or down, the top row and/or 1st column do not stay visible making adding scorers and scoring multiple vendors by section extremely difficult. Is there a way to freeze those responses in place to accomplish scoring in the system more effectively?

                • Exclude Tags option

I would like the option to be able to exclude answers with a a certain TAG when searching much like we can include tags.

                    • Provide reason for rejection

It would be nice if you had a field where the approver could provide feedback to why they rejected the writer's answer. For example, the writer didn't really answer the question, the answer needs more information or detail, to much detail yes or no will suffice, etc.

                      • Revoke Question for Approval

Provide a method to revoke a question that the writer has set as pending approval. Many time users might submit too early and realize they want to make a change. In the current format they have to go ask the approver to reject it. This would speed up the process.

Now writers who were assigned to a question can edit their response even after they marked that they are finished. This only impacts Contributors, who prior to this were restricted from further edits. Managers/Admins can edit anything.

                        • Link outputs

When downloading vendor responses that include links, all the links were cut off and I had to go into RFP365 to find the actual link.

                          • "Show entries" should retain the selected number from search to search.

If the user selects a different number of "Show entries:" for search results, that number should be retained from search to search. Currently the "Show entries" resets to "25" after each search.

                            • Scroll to top after a new search

When a new search is entered, the page should scroll to the top of the page. A new search currently leaves the page position unchanged, which could be in the middle of the new search results.

To the supporters of this suggestion.

We are going through and cleaning up any loose Feedback items. In case you missed it! We do now have the ability now to move a question to another question and have had the ability to move within the active section with a drag-and-drop feature. Below are links to these options:

And in-case you were unaware of this drag-drop feature on questions… here is another link. Excuse the fact that this these screenshots are from the Issuer side but the functionality is the same on both sides this moving feature:

This is core functionality. When you click on a Question you should see the search results on the right-hand side of your screen. That panel has multiple tabs, so look for the search results and you’ll see relevant past responses.

                                    • Set 'Exclude' Filters by Proposal, not by Question

Currently, if I want to reuse an answer from earlier in a proposal, I must turn off the 'exclude search results form this proposal' setting manually for each question. This is disruptive for my longer RFPs, which may have over 300 questions and many repetitive sections requiring the same content.

It'd be much more streamlined and useful to be able to turn the 'exclude' settings on or off for a full proposal. This would allow me to use the setting for smaller proposals, but not have to turn it off over and over again on my longer ones.

                                      • Provide more Advanced Search options

When I search the KB, it provides too many results. I need refined results to better manage the KB. For example, if I enter [reference], it provides results that include Refer, Cross Reference, and so on.
What I need is the ability to enter ["Reference" -cross] to eliminate responses that do not have the exact match for the word Reference (i.e. no Refer) as well as responses that include the word "cross".

                                        • Identify changes to responses from the Knowledge Base

As an approver of responses, I want to easily see if a writer created a response from scratch, used a response directly from the Knowledge Base, or started from a Knowledge Base response and then made changes.

Ideally, I should be able to filter the responses I am approving to "new" "modified" or "re-used" and to auto (or bulk) approve the "re-used" responses so as to focus my approval efforts on the "modified" and "new" responses. This would dramatically reduce my review/approval time.
