This is part of our placeholder initiative, which includes user-defined fields in the Details page of a proposal. This will allow for variables to be inserted (such as client name or other variables) into placeholder ‘tokens’ identified in KB responses.
You can currently make comments at the Question level. In a future release these comments will be more noticeable, as we agree they are kind of buried.
We added a Related Questions feature to help find duplicative responses. You can find this when you click into a Knowledge content item. But we’ll keep working on a ‘report’ that would help identify these in bulk.Peter Diepstraten commented
This could be implemented - at least partly - by re-using/adapting the functionality and look-up algorithms used when answering questions (take a question in the KB as a starting point instead of the proposal question).
Ideally it could be possible to take one KB item, search for similar KB items, select all those that are indeed similar, take one KB item as a basis, create a new KB pair and mark this one as 'primary' and archive/delete (all or some of) the previously marked ones.Peter Diepstraten supported this idea ·
