  1. Have the option of filtering knowledgebase searches.

    It would be nice to be able to filter knowledgebase searches based on question or responses only. i.e. if I am doing a keyword search for "readmission rates," it would be helpful if there was an option to select "question only," so that the system only searches for the key words within questions.

    • Create single KB entries with multiple valid versions.

      We often create and manage variations of the same response, tuned for different verticals, industries, or product lines - fundamentally the same answer, but with different details and, esp, tags. It would be nice to be able to collect and version these hierarchically - like the merge suggestion, but they're not duplicates so much as alternate versions of the same questions and answers.

      • Automatically flag entries for duplicates when adding new entries to the Knowledge Base.

        When doing a bulk upload of content to the Knowledge Base, it would be very helpful if the system automatically scanned and flagged possible duplicate entries before they are inputted into the Knowledge Base.

        • Have a unique identifier for each Knowledge Base entry for traceability

          We would like to have each individual entry to have a unique ID that is assigned upon entry creation so that we can work with the library more efficiently. As our library has grown exponentially, we are finding it impossible to track back to the content in an order to clean up duplicates or work with the content in a meaningful way.

            • Scroll to top after a new search

              When a new search is entered, the page should scroll to the top of the page. A new search currently leaves the page position unchanged, which could be in the middle of the new search results.

                Wayne and other Supporters,

                I personally apologize for the delayed response on this. You know what, that’s a really great point. We have created a ticket to see if there is first any technical reason why we would not be able to… but I believe this could be worked into one of our upcoming sprints to be released within the next two months. Stay tuned to that!

                Additionally, please continue to let us know of your suggestions to make RFP365 even better for your day-to-day RFP/Proposal needs.

              • Tags included in search for answers to RFP questions

                An option to include tags for the terms searched when answers are provided for RFP questions would be very helpful. Often similar questions are asked in RFPs that use differing terminology for the same concept, but tagging the KB items with alternate terms does not assist in finding those answers for later use.

                • Merge duplicate and/or similar knowledge base entries

                  Would like to merge knowledge base entries, especially ones that are similar. With merging, usage count would be accurate.
                  If delete duplicate entries, l"times used" will not be complete.

                  • Advanced KB Editors

                    Would like a super-editor for managing KB data. Finding dupes with a high % overlap would nice. Being able to bulk manage. Self export with some easy way to find.

                      We added a Related Questions feature to help find duplicative responses. You can find this when you click into a Knowledge content item. But we’ll keep working on a ‘report’ that would help identify these in bulk.
