How do I add tags?

You can add Tags in different places (see below). If the component you are working on has tags, just start typing. After a few letters a drop-down will appear with a grouping of existing tags.  If the tag exists you can select it. If the tag doesn't exist, you can create a new one by hitting Enter or a hard return on your keyboard when you are finished typing the tag's name.

For example, if I add a tag to this response in the Knowledge Base, I type it in and hit ENTER. The newly created tag changes color.

Proposals

When you create a new proposal you can assign tags to describe the project. If an existing tag has been created, you’ll see it as you type. When approved responses from the proposal are saved to the Knowledge Base, these tags will be saved with each piece of content.

RFPs

When you create a new RFP you can assign tags to describe the project. If an existing tag has been created, you’ll see it as you type. These tags will not be seen by the responding suppliers/vendors. They are for your internal use.

Knowledge Base

You can also create tags within the Knowledge Base on each piece of content. When you search for responses, you’ll see these tags in the search results. This will help you identify relevant responses. You can filter for tags using the advanced search options also.

You can also tag Contacts, Companies, Lists, and Templates. As we add more components, we generally allow them to be tagged.
